1ST ANNUAL WOMEN'S MEET – AWM 2016


    The 1st Annual Women's Meet (AWM 2016) which is a premier event to Cultivate Research Spirit and Create a Vibrant Community of Women in Science and Technology. It was hosted by the     Centre for Women Development (CWD) of Venus International Foundation (VIF) on 5th March 2016 at Chennai.

    The AWM provides a unique platform to have the voice of women researchers to raise broad awareness to the potential of the female intellectualism. It promotes integration of women in Science and Technology.

    The AWM 2016 invites "Women Researchers" those are continuous regular service in Institutions of Academic, Scientific and Industrial sectors and working in the frontiers of Agricultural Sciences – Engineering – Health and Medical Sciences – Humanities and Social Sciences – Law – Management – Science – Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

    The AWM 2016 gathered 60 live attendees from organizations in 4 countries around the globe. It firmly established its position as the country’s important and dedicated international platform for women researchers.
