The Centre for Women Development (CWD), established in 2015, serves as a premier platform
dedicated to promoting gender equity, women's empowerment, and inclusive excellence.
Guided by the vision of creating an enabling ecosystem for women, the Centre is committed
to fostering leadership, innovation, and professional advancement through impactful initiatives with measurable outcomes.
CWD designs and implements a wide spectrum of transformative programmes, workshops,
capacity-building initiatives, and mentoring opportunities that empower women to excel in
science, technology, academia and leadership.
By cultivating confidence, strengthening
professional competencies, and nurturing critical thinking and resilience, the Centre equips
