(Born on July 3, 1980 in Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, India), is former a teaching faculty
of engineering Institutions. He has made immense contributions to the education society and was an instrumental
in evolving the successful strategy for steering the college campus.
R. Sathishkumar is an alumnus of C. Abdul Hakeem College,
one of the oldest colleges in Vellore District,
Tamilnadu, India. He obtained his Electronic Science degree from University of Madras in 2000 and later
obtained his Master’s degree in Applied Electronics from the Bharathiyar University in 2002, and
thereafter his M.Tech degree in Sensor Systems from the Vellore Inst. of Technology, Tamilnadu in 2004.
He obtained PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from
Academy of Maritime Education and Training, India in 2014.
He underwent training at National Inst. of Oceanography–NIO, India during August 2003.
He did a project at National Inst. of Ocean Technology–NIOT,
India for his Master thesis from Sept. 2003 to May 2004.
He had visited to Acoustic Res. Lab (ARL) of National University of Singapore-NUS during April 2014 to
learn Autonomous Underwater Vehicle developed by ARL.
