Q1. The Scheme

Venus International Dentistry Awards (VIDA) scheme was instituted in the year 2018 by the Centre for Health and Medical Sciences (CHMS) of Venus International Foundation (VIF). It is presented yearly during Annual Dentistry Summit (ADS) that is conducted during April month of the year. It has a Criteria, Policy, Nomination Application, Expert Committee/Judging Process that are governed by the Board of Trust. (Award: Certificate and Memento; It's a Non-financial Award)

Q2. What are the eligibility criteria to apply for VIDA 2019?

Q3. How many entrants win VIDA Awards?

For each field /speciality (Eg. Excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery), the expert committee will select 2 Nominees. However the Apex Committee reserve the rights to honour less or more than 2 nominees in any category who meet standards set by the expert committee.

Q5. Why the Winner has to Register for the ADS Program ?

ADS is a self-supporting event. The registration fees are the major source of revenue for running the event. All the expenses of the events (Accounting and Auditing fee - Bank charges - Electricity, Telephone, Internet - Employees Salary/Benefits - Equipment/Major Rentals - Gifts/ Premiums - Labor cost - Lunch and Hall Expenses - Materials - Office Rent and Maintenance - Packaging - Photography - Planning - Postage Expense - Printing and Stationery - Promotion & Publicity - Publications - Stage decoration expenses - Taxes - Website Design & Maintenance) are covered by the event income (registration fees from the participants) and Foundation operating funds.

Q6. After registering for the ADS, if the Winner is unable to attend the same, how to get the Award ?

We expect the Award Winner's presence on the day of Celebration. If not, He/She can can depute a person to get the Award during the ceremony. (or) VIDA Team will send the Award Certificate, Medal and Memento via courier to the Winner's Address during the 3rd week of June 2019. However, as soon as the Winner register for the event, His/Her name will be appear in the Award Winners List, His/Her Profile will be uploaded in the Web page.
