We are happy to welcome you to the official website of the 1st Annual Healthcare Meet - AHM 2018!

This page provides a summary of the 1st Annual Healthcare Meet - AHM 2018, a full day academic workshop, hosted by the Center for Health and Medical Sciences (CHMS) of Venus International Foundation (VIF) on September 29, 2018 at Le Royal Meridien, Chennai City, India.

It is a 1st Meet and was attended by 43 delegates (represented 10 Country: from England, Australia, Oman, Jordan, Malaysia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Taiwan and India) those are employed/ practicing in a Teaching Hospitals/Clinical Establishments/Research Laboratories/Academic Institutions.

Objectives of the Meet

To provide a comprehensive understanding of the key dynamics of the current healthcare industry.

To promote cutting edge research on innovation in healthcare delivery (Information Technology, Management, Processes and Systems)

To manage complex healthcare issues and to make effective strategic decisions

To discuss the current trends and presentation of new research as applied to healthcare

Inauguration

This Meet provided a platform to discuss all aspects of health care research like 'Diagnosis - Prevention - Cure and Rehabilitation of Patients affected by one or more health disorders in terms of Physical, Physiological and Psychological Illness' also the treatment services. In many ways the meet is unique: the traditions of being by invitation only, have always been intended to promote intense and positive discussion between the experts in the field.

The intent of the meet is not archival publication, but rather to provide a forum to build community and to stimulate discussion, new insight and experimentation.

Healthcare Awards Ceremony

The Venus International Healthcare Awardss (affectionately known as the VIHAs) scheme was instituted in the year 2017 by the CHMS of VIF, are presented yearly during the Annual Healthcare Meet (AHM) that is conducted during September month of the year. The Award (Certificate, Bronze Medal & Memento; It's a Non-financial Award) scheme has a Criteria, Standards, Policy, Nomination Application, Expert Committee and Judging Process etc that are governed by the Board of Trust.

The VIHA 2018 is convened by the CHMS of VIF & will be conducted in accordance with the VIF BOARD MEETING resolution vide F. No. VIF/MIN/BM-IV/2018 held on April 9, 2018 at VIF Head Quarters invites nominations from eligible individuals those are employed/ practicing in a Teaching Hospitals/Clinical Establishments/Research Laboratories/Academic Institutions and workinga in the frontiers of Dental Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Allied Health Sciences, Biomedical Science & Engineering, Public Health.

The nominees are selected based on the Expert Committee report and Apex Committee recommendations.
